Remimazolam group:Remimazolam tosilate injection was administered. Induction regimen: intravenous bolus of 0.15–0.30 mg/kg (adjusted according to patient status), administered as a slow bolus over >30
Etomidate group:Etomidate emulsion for injection was administered. Induction regimen: intravenous bolus of 0.15–0.30 mg/kg (adjusted according to patient status), administered as a slow bolus over >30

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >= 60 years; 2. ASA physical status class III–IV; 3. Symptomatic aortic regurgitation (moderate or severe); 4. Scheduled to undergo transapical TAVR under general anesthesia.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with concomitant severe aortic stenosis or mitral valve disease; 2. Patients receiving vasoactive agents or mechanical support preoperatively; 3. Patients at risk of difficult airway; 4. Patients with pre-existing end-stage organ failure; 5. Patients who refuse to sign informed consent.
