Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Age >= 18 years; 2.Planned to receive HFNC therapy with an expected treatment duration > 2 hours; 3.Admitted to the ICU with hypoxemia (defined as SpO2 10 seconds, or PaO2/FiO2 < 300 mmHg); 4.Signed informed consent;

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Received invasive or non-invasive mechanical ventilation within 72 hours prior to HFNC; 2.Presence of contraindications to EIT or ultrasound; 3.Pregnant or breastfeeding; 4.Refusal of endotracheal intubation or cardiopulmonary resuscitation before HFNC initiation; 5.Any other condition that the investigator considers unsuitable for enrollment;
