18 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age 18–70 years. 2. Successful completion of overnight polysomnography (PSG) and all required questionnaires. 3. Cases must meet diagnostic criteria for obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS); controls must be healthy adults who snore without OSAHS (AHI < 5). 4. No prior or current treatment for OSAHS at enrollment. 5. Clear consciousness and normal language communication. 6. Voluntary participation with signed informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Comorbid neurological or psychiatric disorders, cerebral pathology, or insomnia that could interfere with cognitive assessment. 2. Central or mixed sleep apnea syndrome. 3. Severe impairment of cardiac, pulmonary, hepatic, or renal function. 4. Current use of medications affecting sleep or mental state, or alcohol abuse. 5. Unwillingness to cooperate with the study procedures.
