Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Inclusion Criteria for the FAIS Patient Group Patients who meet all of the following criteria will be enrolled in the FAIS group: (1) Age between 18 and 60 years; (2) Unilateral hip or groin pain; (3) Positive clinical examination, including at least a positive FADIR test; (4) Imaging examinations meet the diagnostic criteria for FAIS, including but not limited to: X-ray, CT, or MRI showing Cam, Pincer, or mixed FAIS; Cam type shows an increase in alpha angle; Pincer type is characterized by excessive coverage of the hip socket; (5) Able to independently complete standing, weight-bearing, and the testing procedures. 2. Inclusion Criteria for the Healthy Control Group Subjects who meet all of the following criteria will be enrolled in the healthy control group: (1) Age between 18 and 60 years; (2) No hip symptoms No history of pain in the groin, hip, or anterior thigh; VAS score = 0 in the past 6 months; No hip discomfort or dysfunction. (3) Negative physical examination Negative FADIR test; Negative FABER test; Negative straight leg raise test; Hip range of motion within normal limits. (4) Normal functional scores iHOT-33 score >= 90 Harris Hip Score >= 95 (5) No history of hip-related diseases No history of hip surgery; No history of hip fracture; No history of congenital hip dysplasia.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Exclusion Criteria for the FAIS Patient Group (1) Patients meeting any of the following criteria will be excluded: (2) History of surgical treatment on the hip, knee, or ankle joint; History of definite lower extremity fracture, or obvious structural deformity; (3) Presence of severe hip osteoarthritis confirmed by imaging (Tönnis grade >= 2); (4) Comorbidity with other diseases that may affect lower extremity biomechanics, such as:inflammatory joint diseases (rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, etc.); (5) neurological diseases (stroke, peripheral neuropathy, etc.); (6) acute knee or ankle injury or significant knee/ankle pain within the past 6 months; (7) Bilateral significant hip symptoms, making it difficult to distinguish the affected side from the unaffected side; (8) Pregnant women. 2. Exclusion Criteria for the Healthy Control Group: Subjects meeting any of the following criteria will be excluded: (1) Failure to meet the aforementioned inclusion criteria for the healthy control group; (2) Imaging (X-ray) findings consistent with femoroacetabular impingement; (3) History of lower extremity joint surgery or definite lower extremity fracture; (4) Past or current hip pain; (5) Participation in high-risk sports for FAI (professional athletes); (6) Lower extremity neurological diseases; (7) Lumbar spine diseases; (8) Inability to independently complete all testing procedures; (9) Past or current neurological, muscular, or rheumatic diseases that affect gait or lower extremity biomechanics; (10) Inability to cooperate with the testing procedures; (11) Pregnant women.
