Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age: 60 - 80 years old; 2. Patients with knee osteoarthritis scheduled for total knee arthroplasty (TKA); 3. Knee joint pain for more than 3 months; 4. BMI < 35.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. History of lower limb joint replacement surgery; 2. History of knee injury or surgery in the past 6 months; 3. Received muscle strength training or physical therapy in the past 6 months; 4. Other diseases causing knee joint pain (such as rheumatoid arthritis, gout, etc.); 5. Besides knee osteoarthritis, there are other diseases causing lower limb pain or dysfunction (such as lumbar disc herniation, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, etc.); 6. Unable to walk independently for a short distance (walking distance less than 100 meters); 7. Have difficulty performing daily activities; 8. Severe cognitive impairment and communication disorder; 9. Knee joint valgus deformity greater than or equal to 15°.
