Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.GBD: Include burden data such as incidence, prevalence, mortality, and disability-adjusted life years (DALYs) for asthma, COPD, and lower respiratory infections (LRI) from GBD 2021 or the latest version. 2.ELSA: Participants aged >=50 years from ELSA Waves 1-10 with complete baseline socioeconomic, health behavior, clinical measurement, and disease history data. 3.Genetic data: Summary statistics from public GWAS catalogs or platforms such as IEU OpenGWAS, covering asthma, COPD, lung function (FEV1/FVC), infection susceptibility, etc.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.GBD: Non-core respiratory disease burden data. 2.ELSA: Individuals with missing rates >20% for key variables; individuals lost to follow-up at baseline or with severely inconsistent data. 3.Genetic data: GWAS studies with severe sample overlap, poorly controlled population stratification, or low quality scores.
