Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. diagnosis of stroke based on the criteria of American Heart Association/American Stroke Association, with confirmation via cranial CT and MRI; 2. the grade of Kubota water swallowing test was 3-5; 3. first-time unilateral stroke; 4. two weeks to six months after stroke onset; 5. aged 18 to 80 years old; 6. no cognitive impairment, with the Mini-Mental State Examination score >=24.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. presence of other neurological disorders (e.g., Parkinson's disease, myasthenia gravis) or organic lesions in the oral cavity, pharynx, or esophagus leading to dysphagia; 2. combined with severe cardiovascular, endocrine, respiratory, psychiatric, or neoplastic diseases; 3. combined with severe visual or auditory impairments; 4. poor patient compliance.
