Newborn Early Care Program

Interventions

Combined EENC 90-minute group:Combined operating room and ward implementation of continuous mother-infant skin-to-skin contact (SSC) for a total duration of 90 minutes
including delayed cord clamping (>=1 minute), immediate drying, establishment of unobstructed skin-to-skin contact (side-lying hold) in the operating room, maintaining SSC in the operating room and tr
monitoring maternal and infant vital signs, temperature maintenance, and safety during and after surgery.
Routine cesarean delivery care group:Routine cesarean delivery care, postoperative routine management, routine separation from newborn or brief SSC (<15 minutes) after surgery.

Eligibility

Sex/Gender
Female

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Term or late preterm cesarean delivery, newborns not requiring endotracheal intubation or immediate NICU intervention, and maternal consent to participate.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Severe obstetric complications requiring special management, major congenital malformations in newborns or need for immediate NICU admission, and maternal contraindications to breastfeeding or mental disorders.
