Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with staghorn calculi (stones located in the renal pelvis with branches extending into the calyces), multiple renal calculi (=2 stones), or large renal calculi (diameter >2.5cm), who have a confirmed diagnosis through examinations such as B-ultrasound, KUB + IVP, three-dimensional CT imaging, and urinalysis, with complete preoperative assessments, informed consent, clear surgical indications, and no relevant surgical contraindications.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with dysfunction of vital organs (such as cardiac, cerebral, pulmonary, hepatic, or renal) that precludes tolerance for surgery; uncontrolled primary conditions like hypertension or diabetes; uncontrolled acute urinary tract infection, pyonephrosis, or active tuberculosis; or those with conditions including mobile kidney, transplanted kidney, severe nephroptosis, or ureteropelvic junction obstruction.
