Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients with type 1 or type 2 diabetes who met the 1999 World Health Organization diagnostic criteria for diabetes. 2.Diabetic foot ulcers of Wagner grade 1 to 5;

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Ulcers that were stained by powder or self-applied antiseptics and could not be cleansed for accurate assessment were excluded. 2.Patients were excluded if they had a concurrent malignancy with a potentially limited life expectancy;
