18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >= 18 years; 2. Confirmed diagnosis of acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) according to Berlin criteria, with oxygenation index 200 < PaO2/FiO2 <= 300; 3. Successfully weaned from invasive mechanical ventilation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Pre-existing severe neurological disease; 2. Severe audiovisual impairment affecting VR participation; 3. Psychiatric disorders requiring antipsychotic medication; 4. Life-threatening comorbidities with expected survival less than 1 month; 5. Unable to complete follow-up assessments.
