Conditions

Retroperitoneal fibrosis, accompanied by renal hydronephrosis, ureteral dilatation, and related lesions with renal vascular involvement

Interventions

Gold Standard:Taking CT or MRI (plain scan + enhanced scan) diagnosis as the gold standard.
Index test:Color Doppler Ultrasound Diagnostic System (Philips EPIQ5, Canon APLIO500
2–5 MHz probe)
method: color Doppler ultrasound with Three-Plane Localization Method and renal artery flow assessment
imaging indicators: hydronephrosis, ureteral dilatation, proximal ureteral dilation or mid-ureteral steno

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: Age >=18 years. Patients who underwent abdominal color Doppler ultrasound at this hospital during the study period, with reports indicating hydronephrosis, ureteral dilation, and/or perirenal or retroperitoneal hyperechoic lesions. Patients who underwent abdominal CT or MRI (non-contrast + contrast-enhanced) at this hospital following the ultrasound examination.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Imaging data (ultrasound, CT, or MRI images) are incomplete or of poor quality, making evaluation impossible. There are clear alternative causes of hydronephrosis or retroperitoneal lesions (e.g., malignant tumors, stones, history of surgery, etc.). Pregnant women.
