Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion Criteria for ADHD: 1. Age between 6 and <18 years; 2. First-time diagnosis of ADHD; 3. Meeting the diagnostic criteria for ADHD according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-5). Inclusion Criteria for the Control Group: 1. Age between 6 and <18 years; 2. Not meeting the diagnostic criteria for ADHD according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-5).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Age > 18 years; 2. Children with neurological and developmental disorders, such as epilepsy, autoimmune encephalitis, cerebral palsy, tic disorder, leukodystrophy, etc. 3. Children with other mental and psychological disorders, such as schizophrenia, depression, and pediatric bipolar disorder, etc. 4. Children with genetic diseases, such as Turner syndrome and neurofibromatosis, etc. 5. Children who cannot complete the treatment as prescribed.
