Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Schizophrenia group: (1) Meets the DSM-5 diagnostic criteria for schizophrenia; (2) Aged 18 to 65 years; (3) Han ethnicity; (4) Right-handed; (5) A PANSS P2 item score >= 4; (6) No language impairment or hearing impairment; (7) Unmedicated or currently taking second-generation antipsychotics other than clozapine. 2.Healthy control group: (1) No history of mental disorders; (2) Aged 18 to 65 years; (3) Han ethnicity; (4) Right-handed; (5) No language impairment or hearing impairment; (6) Negative family history of mental disorders.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Schizophrenia group: (1) Non-native speakers of Chinese; (2) Comorbid with other mental disorders; (3) Currently undergoing MECT; (4) A history of brain injury, neurological disease, or severe physical illness; (5) Intellectual disability, dementia, or comorbid substance dependence and drug abuse; (6) Pregnant or lactating women; (7) Claustrophobia, metal implants, or any other condition making magnetic resonance imaging intolerable. 2.Healthy control group: (1) Non-native speakers of Chinese; (2) A history of brain injury, neurological disease, or severe physical illness; (3) Intellectual disability, dementia, or comorbid substance dependence and drug abuse; (4) Pregnant or lactating women; (5) Claustrophobia, metal implants, or any other condition making magnetic resonance imaging intolerable.
