Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Full-time undergraduate students at school, aged 18–22 years; 2.Body Mass Index (BMI) >= 28 kg/m^2; 3. Body fat percentage: > 20% for males and > 28% for females (verified by bioelectrical impedance analysis); 4. Weight fluctuation < 5% in the past 6 months, with no regular exercise habits (moderate-intensity exercise < 60 minutes per week); 5. Provide informed consent and sign the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Confirmed diseases of the cardiovascular, metabolic, respiratory, or musculoskeletal systems, or severe liver and kidney diseases; 2.Currently taking medications that affect glucose-lipid metabolism or body weight (e.g., hypoglycemic agents, statins, hormones); 3.Having exercise contraindications or aquaphobia; 4.Smoking (> 1 cigarette per day) or excessive drinking (alcohol intake > 30 g per day); 5.Planning to participate in other weight-loss programs or undergo weight-loss surgery during the study period.
