Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Ulcerative colitis group: patients aged 18-65 years, diagnosed with UC based on clinical symptoms, imaging, endoscopy, and pathological manifestations. Control group: Healthy individuals who match the age and lifestyle of the UC group.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals who have undergone major gastrointestinal surgery before enrollment, have no history of other serious digestive system diseases, have undergone significant changes in dietary habits within the first 6 months of enrollment, have taken probiotics in the past 3 months, and are pregnant.
