Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Meets the indications for bariatric metabolic surgery (BMI >= 32.5 kg/m^2, or BMI >= 27.5 kg/m^2 combined with metabolic diseases such as type 2 diabetes and hypertension); 2. Age between 18 and 70 years old; 3. Has undergone routine blood vitamin D testing and chest CT scan before the surgery, and can cooperate with InBody skeletal muscle mass measurement, muscle strength assessment, physical function assessment and follow-up; 4. Has signed the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Secondary obesity (such as Cushing's syndrome, hypothyroidism, etc.); 2. Severe liver and kidney failure, malignant tumors, and contraindications for exercise (such as severe heart failure, bone and joint diseases); 3. Patients with implanted cardiac pacemakers or those who cannot cooperate for body composition measurement; 4. Patients with cognitive impairment or mental disorders who cannot cooperate.
