Interventions
Uphill running Group:UR participants received treadmill training 3 times per week for 4 weeks. Each session included 20 minutes of treadmill running (Technogym DA48ED model) with a gradient set to =9.
Functional Strength Training Group:FST participants underwent intervention 3 times per week for 4 weeks. Each session included: 3 sets of resisted dorsiflexion with an elastic band, 3 sets of resisted

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Beijing Sport University students aged 18-30; 2.History of ankle sprain for more than 12 months; 3.Cumberland Ankle Instability Tool (CAIT) score = 24; 4.No ankle sprain within 3 months prior to the experiment; 5.No history of lower limb fractures or other injuries.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.History of lower limb surgery, 2.lower limb fractures, or neurological or vestibular disorders.
