Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Part 1(Retrospective cohort study): (1) Patients aged between 18 and 85 years, regardless of gender; (2) Patients diagnosed with dentition defects characterized by the consecutive loss of multiple teeth (>=2); (3) All patients were treated using Straumann implant systems, specifically soft tissue level implants or bone level implants; (4) The superstructure prosthesis comprised either an integrated hybrid abutment crown constructed from titanium base abutments for bridge and zirconia, or a zirconia crown paired with an cement-retained abutment; (5) The restoration had been completed for more than 1 year for all patients; 2.Part 2(Prospective Cohort Study): (1) Patients aged between 18 and 85 years, regardless of gender; (2) Patients diagnosed with dentition defects, particularly those with consecutive loss of multiple teeth (>=2); (3) All patients received either soft tissue level implants or bone level implants from the Straumann dental implant system; (4) The superstructure prosthesis comprised either an integrated hybrid abutment crown constructed from titanium base abutments for bridge and zirconia, or a zirconia crown paired with an cement-retained abutment; (5) Gingival thickness was less than 4 mm, negating the necessity for angled abutments; (6) Healthy periodontal tissue, with bleeding on probing (BOP) < 20% and plaque index (PI) < 25%.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Part 1(Retrospective cohort study): (1) Pregnancy or breastfeeding; (2) Individuals with psychiatric disorders or intellectual impairments. 2.Part 2(Prospective Cohort Study): (1) Smoking; (2) Uncontrolled systemic conditions; (3) Bruxism; (4) Inability to receive regular periodontal maintenance therapy; (5) Pregnancy or breastfeeding; (6) Individuals with psychiatric or intellectual disabilities.
