Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Participants in the all-age type 1 diabetes study were diagnosed according to the 1999 WHO diagnostic criteria for diabetes; insulin therapy was initiated immediately after diagnosis and continued thereafter; and they tested positive for islet autoantibodies.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnant women and individuals with mental disorders with concurrent type 1 diabetes.
