18 Years to 30 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 18-30 years; 2. Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9) score >=5 and Beck Depression Inventory-II (BDI-II) score >=14. 3. Normal systolic and diastolic blood pressure. 4. Body Mass Index (BMI) <= 28 kg/m². 5. Able to attend weekly Saturday sessions for 8 weeks and engage in daily practice on weekdays. 6. No current use of psychoactive medications and no history of substance dependence. 7. No prior meditation or mindfulness training within the past 3 months. 8. Provision of written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Severe neurological disorders, bipolar disorder, intellectual disability, other psychiatric disorders, or substance abuse history (alcohol, psychoactive substances, CNS stimulants). 2. Major physical diseases or hyperhomocysteinemia-related conditions (hypertension, diabetes mellitus, chronic renal/hepatic failure). 3. Current/recent use of homocysteine-affecting medications (vitamin B6, folic acid, vitamin B12, related supplements). 4. History of regular smoking, alcohol consumption, or chronic tea/coffee drinking.
