Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Case Group: 1. Zhongshan University Fifth Hospital, individuals with a confirmed diagnosis of respiratory syncytial virus infection (within the past 3 days having upper respiratory symptoms such as runny nose and sore throat, nasopharyngeal swab RSV nucleic acid test positive); 2. Age: 18–59 years; 3. Able to follow-up and comply with the study protocol requirements; Control Group: 1. Zhongshan University Fifth Hospital, healthy individuals from the health examination center; 2. Age: 18–59 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Missing clinical data/information. 2.Patients with concurrent autoimmune diseases, malignancies, or HIV/AIDS. 3.Uncontrolled chronic diseases or those requiring frequent treatment adjustments. 4.No other acute systemic infections within the past 3 months.
