Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.The pregnant woman must be at least 18 years old and have given birth in our hospital (either by natural delivery or cesarean section is acceptable). 2.Pregnant women with pre-natal fever and suspected intrauterine infection.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Incomplete sampling or insufficient key sample quantity (any required sample missing/obviously contaminated/severely clotted, affecting testing). 2. Invasive vaginal or intrauterine procedures within 72 hours before delivery (such as hysteroscopy, uterine irrigation, etc.) that may cause indistinguishable 'exogenous introduction.' 3. Vaginal local medication/washing or use of live-bacterial vaginal products within the past 7 days (if used, do not exclude yet, but list separately as an 'intervention subgroup'). 4. Extreme immune conditions such as recent chemotherapy/radiotherapy for malignant tumors or strong immunosuppression after organ transplantation.
