Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients scheduled to undergo elective pancreaticoduodenectomy (PD) at West China Hospital. 2. Age between 18 and 80 years. 3. Provision of written informed consent prior to surgery.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with severe abdominal skin damage that precludes the use of the monitoring device. 2. History of prior abdominal radiotherapy (which may impair enteric neural function). 3. Presence of severe gastrointestinal motility disorders prior to surgery.
