Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Subjects with no preoperative cognitive dysfunction (MMSE score >= 24) were included. 2.A patient diagnosed with aortic dissection was treated with Sun's procedure (total arch replacement combined with stented elephant trunk implantation), following preoperative lumbar cisternal catheter placement for cerebrospinal fluid drainage. 3.Participants provided informed consent for the collection of biological specimens.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.The patient has a history of stroke. 2.The presence of preoperative cognitive impairment (MMSE score < 24). 3.Subjects with a history of severe neuropsychiatric disorders, craniocerebral trauma, drug dependence, alcohol addiction, severe preoperative dementia, or previous cardiac surgery were excluded. 4.The presence of contraindications to spinal (lumbar) puncture. 5.CSF drainage poses a risk of harm to the participant. 6.Explicit refusal was obtained from both the subject and their family.
