Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Peripheral blood and placenta samples were collected from pregnant women with preeclampsia who delivered at the South Campus of Fuzhou University Affiliated Provincial Hospital. The control group consisted of 30 women who underwent elective cesarean section without any pregnancy complications during the same period. The diagnostic criteria for preeclampsia were based on the 9th edition of "Obstetrics and Gynecology". The study was approved by the hospital's ethics committee, and the subjects signed informed consent forms.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.With underlying conditions such as chronic hypertension, diabetes, nephropathy, or immune system diseases, in addition to other obstetric comorbidities and complications. 2.Assisted Reproductive Technology; 3.Multiple pregnancy (carrying two or more fetuses);
