Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >= 18 years; 2. Complete preoperative radiographic examinations, including anteroposterior and lateral radiographs, computed tomography (CT) scans, and three-dimensional (3D) reconstruction, confirming the diagnosis of ankle fracture combined with proximal fifth metatarsal fracture; 3. No preoperative abnormalities in ankle or foot joint function and no history of previous surgery on the ipsilateral lower extremity; 4. Follow-up duration >= 12 months.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Severe open fractures (Gustilo grade > ?); 2. Old fractures and pathological fractures; 3. Fractures combined with vascular or nerve injuries requiring repair; 4. Poor general condition precluding surgical treatment.
