Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Imaging confirms that the atlanto-dental interval (ADI) is >= 5mm; 2. Etiological/pathological diagnosis of an infectious cause; 3. Completion of >= 12 months of follow-up.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Those with underlying diseases such as severe hypertension, heart disease, and diabetes who are unable to undergo surgery due to these conditions; 2. Patients with mild symptoms who do not require surgical intervention or those who refuse surgery; 3. Patients with mild symptoms who do not require surgical intervention or those who refuse surgery; 4. Incomplete imaging data;
