Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: a. Age > 18 years old; b. Closed ankle fracture confirmed by imaging; c. Fresh ankle fracture (time from injury to surgery = 3 weeks); d. Able to walk independently before injury, without severe functional impairment; e. Willing to undergo surgical treatment in the hospital; f. Capable of cooperating with postoperative rehabilitation training and completing follow-up.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: a. Pathological fractures or open fractures caused by tumors or infections; b. Other fractures in the same lower limb that are not suitable for early weight-bearing or severe nerve and vascular injuries; c. Cognitive impairment or mental disorders that prevent cooperation in rehabilitation; d. Ineligible for surgery due to factors such as inability to tolerate anesthesia.
