Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Elderly patients (aged =65 years) undergoing elective total hip arthroplasty under general anesthesia.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Failed preoperative anesthesia assessment. 2. Long-term use of other opioids or analgesics. 3. Comorbid kidney or liver diseases, infectious diseases, or psychological disorders. 4. History of alcohol abuse or substance abuse.
