40 Years to 75 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients with KOA (Group 1): (1).aged 40–75, both sexes are eligible; (2) Diagnosed as mild (grade II), moderate (grade III), or severe (grade IV) according to the Kellgren–Lawrence (K–L) imaging classification; (3) Voluntarily participate in the study and sign the informed consent form. Non-KOA control group: (1) Age and sex matched to the patient group (40–75 years old); (2) No recent history of knee joint trauma or surgery; (3) Voluntarily participate in the study and sign the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Suffering from other inflammatory joint diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, gouty arthritis, etc; 2.History of knee joint trauma, surgery, or intra-articular injection therapy within the past 3 months; 3.Presence of severe comorbidities affecting the cardiac, hepatic, renal, or hematologic systems; 4.History of autoimmune diseases or long-term use of immunosuppressants; 5.Pregnant or lactating women; 6.Presence of mental or cognitive impairment that would preclude cooperation with study assessments.
