Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients diagnosed with bronchiectasis confirmed by high-resolution computed tomography (HRCT); 2.Age =18 years; 3.Availability of baseline clinical data at cohort entry, including demographic characteristics, medical history, blood eosinophil count (BEC), and inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) use; 4.At least one lower respiratory tract microbiological test during follow-up (sputum or bronchoalveolar lavage culture); 5.Available follow-up data during the study period (June 1, 2022 to December 31, 2024).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with missing key variables, including ICS use, blood eosinophil count (BEC), microbiological results, or follow-up data; 2.Patients with conditions affecting exposure or outcome assessment, including immunodeficiency, asthma, allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis (ABPA), or malignancy within 5 years; 3.Use of systemic immunosuppressive therapy within 12 months before cohort entry, including oral corticosteroids, biologics, or chemotherapy; 4.Prior use of inhaled corticosteroids (ICS) before cohort entry;Prior detection of Pseudomonas aeruginosa in lower respiratory tract specimens before cohort entry.
