Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age range: Children aged 4-12 years old. 2. Cognitive impairment assessment: Mild to moderate cognitive impairment (Griffiths total Developmental Quotient [DQ] < 85) confirmed by a standardized cognitive assessment tool (Griffiths Developmental Scales). 3. Guardian's informed consent: Guardians must sign an informed consent form and voluntarily agree to their child's participation in the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Comorbidity with other neurological diseases: Such as uncontrolled epilepsy, progressive neurodegenerative diseases. 2. Severe systemic diseases: Diseases that may affect treatment safety, including congenital heart disease, severe hepatic or renal insufficiency, and immunodeficiency diseases. 3. Contraindications to transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS): Uncontrolled pneumothorax, active otitis media, severe emphysema or pulmonary infection, epilepsy, skull defects, etc. 4. Inability to cooperate with treatment: Presence of severe behavioral problems (e.g., aggressive behavior) or sensory impairments (e.g., blindness, deafness) that prevent completion of the treatment process. 5. Other special circumstances: Changes in treatment plans within the past 4 weeks, refusal of family members to cooperate with follow-up, or risk of incomplete data recording.
