Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Burn Patient Cohort: 1. Age at the time of burn injury: 18 to 60 years. 2. Sustained a severe burn requiring long-term hospitalization (Total Body Surface Area burned >50%, or >30% with severe injuries). 3. Enrolled within 1 year after hospital discharge. Healthy Control Cohort: 1. Age: 18 to 60 years.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: For Burn Patients: 1. History of familial genetic disorders. 2. History of renal, cardiovascular, or psychiatric diseases. 3. History of severe infections or communicable diseases. 4. Prolonged residency in high-altitude regions. 5. Occupations involving exposure to thermal injury or radiation. 6. Non-compliance during the follow-up period. For Healthy Controls: 1. History of familial genetic disorders. 2. History of renal, cardiovascular, or psychiatric diseases. 3. History of severe infections or communicable diseases. 4. Long-term residency in high-altitude regions. 5. Occupations associated with thermal injury. 6. Non-compliance during the follow-up period.
