Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Meet the diagnostic criteria for obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 5th Edition (DSM-5). 2.Yale-Brown Obsessive Compulsive Scale (Y-BOCS) score >= 16. 3.Male or female, any ethnicity, aged 16–60 years, and right-handed. 4.Educational attainment at primary school or above, able to understand task requirements and complete questionnaires. 5.Provide written informed consent signed by the participant or their legal guardian. 6.No prior pharmacotherapy for OCD before enrollment.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Subjects with any other psychiatric disorder. 2.Subjects with a history of epilepsy, substance abuse, severe head injury, or any neurosurgical procedure. 3.Individuals with contraindications to MRI scanning, including claustrophobia, metallic implants, pacemakers, etc. 4.Pregnant or lactating women. 5.Subjects who have received electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) within the past 6 months. 6.Individuals with contraindications to MRI or abnormal brain structure detected by MRI. 7.Individuals unwilling or unable to complete the entire study procedure or comply with the study treatment plan.
