Adolescent Mental Health

Interventions

Intervention Group:Seven mental health sessions, one session per week, delivered by instructors who have undergone unified training.
Control Group:The control group was placed on a waitlist, did not participate in the seven-session mental health curriculum, and received school routine psychological services.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Ages 9-16, students in the upper grades of primary school, junior high school and senior high school, with basic language comprehension and expression abilities; 2. Able to participate normally in peer interactions, group interactions and group discussions; 3. Voluntary participation in this study, with both the student and the legal guardian signing the informed consent form; 4. Capable of independently completing the standardized self-report scale assessment and cooperating to complete the evaluations at the baseline, after the intervention and during the follow-up stages.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Those diagnosed with severe mental disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders or suffering from serious physical illnesses, who are unable to participate in group activities; 2. Those who have received professional emotional regulation, psychological therapy or other related interventions in the past 3 months, and may experience an additive effect of the interventions; 3. Those with severe interpersonal communication disorders or school adaptation disorders, and unable to complete the tasks of interacting with peers; 4. Those who are expected to be unable to complete the entire intervention process and the subsequent 1-month follow-up due to reasons such as transfer, suspension of studies, or long-term absence from school.
