Interventions

Experimental Group:Anti-VEGF combined with micropulse laser therapy (anti-VEGF as above, laser performed within 1 week after the first injection)
Control Group:Anti-VEGF monotherapy (Conbercept, 3 PRN regimen)

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age 18 years or older, diagnosed with type 2 diabetes; 2. Center-involved DME, OCT showing CMT = 300 µm; 3. HbA1c = 9% (to control blood sugar interference); 4. Best corrected visual acuity ETDRS letters 20-78 (equivalent to Snellen 20/400-20/32); 5. For patients with both eyes affected, only the first affected eye is included.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. History of previous vitrectomy 2. Systemic use of glucocorticoids or other intraocular injections or laser treatments within 3 months 3. Presence of other ocular comorbidities affecting macular function 4. Pregnant or breastfeeding women.
