Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Age >=18 years and in good general health; 2.Single posterior tooth affected by severe periodontitis, with a plan for implant restoration in the extraction site. 3.Presence of bone loss on both the buccal and palatal/lingual walls of the extraction socket. 4.Adjacent teeth present in the planned extraction area. 5.Good oral hygiene: full-mouth plaque index <=25% and full-mouth bleeding index <=25%.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Heavy smokers (>10 cigarettes/day); 2.Long-term use of medications affecting healing (e.g., immunosuppressants, phenytoin, etc.); 3.Pregnant or breastfeeding women; 4.History of radiotherapy or chemotherapy for malignant tumors within the past 5 years; 5.Patients with adjacent teeth restored with metal crowns or those whose CBCT image quality is insufficient for registration;
