Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Inclusion Criteria: (1)Aged 18 to 80 years (inclusive). (2)Patients who underwent scheduled or emergency cardiac surgery. (3)Patients who meet the criteria for the defined study endpoints (see 'Study Outcomes' section for details). (4)Patients with complete data availability, including information on all study endpoints. 2.Inclusion Criteria: (1) Aged 18 to 80 years (inclusive). (2)Patients scheduled to undergo or undergoing emergency cardiac surgery. (3)Patients with complete baseline and perioperative data available in the electronic medical records (excluding endpoint data). (4)Patients or their legally authorized representatives have provided signed informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Exclusion Criteria: (1)Patients who experienced a major study outcome prior to surgery and had not recovered from it. (2)Patients with severe concomitant comorbidities. (3)For patients with multiple eligible surgeries, only the most recent procedure (closest to the data retrieval date) was included; all prior surgical records from our institution for the same patient were excluded. 2.Exclusion Criteria: (1)Patients who have experienced a major study outcome prior to surgery and have not recovered from it. (2)Patients with severe pre-existing comorbidities. (3)Patients who die or are discharged within 24 hours after surgery. (4)If a patient qualifies for multiple surgeries during the study period, only the first eligible procedure will be enrolled; subsequent procedures will be excluded.
