Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult patients (18-60 years old) scheduled for elective bariatric surgery, with ARISCAT score >=26 and ASA classification I~III.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.NYHA functional classification >=Class ?, with symptoms of cardiac insufficiency such as angina pectoris occurring within the past 6 months. 2.Complicated with asthma, moderate to severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (FEV1 < 80% of predicted value, FEV1/FVC < 0.7), pulmonary bullae, history of ARDS, persistent smoking within 1 week before surgery, or history of thoracic surgery. 3.Planned transfer to the intensive care unit (ICU) after surgery 4.Contraindications to the use of PEEP, such as increased intracranial pressure and pregnancy 5.Difficult airway known or suspected by the attending anesthesiologist, or significant craniomaxillofacial abnormalities.
