Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. The affected tooth is a case of horizontal bone defect. The lingual and palatine bone plates are basically intact, with a horizontal bone defect of 3-8mm and no obvious vertical bone resorption. 2. In the maxilla, 4 to 8 weeks after tooth extraction, the alveolar basal bone at the root tip is sufficient. In the mandible, 3 months after tooth extraction, there is cortical bone with a thickness of =1mm on the labial and buccal sides of the missing tooth area. 3. The periodontal soft tissues are healthy, without acute or chronic inflammation; 4. The patient has no bad habits such as smoking, drinking alcohol or chewing betel nuts. There is no gender restriction, and the age range is 18 to 60 years old.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. History of diseases or medication use that affect bone metabolism. 2. Uncontrolled systemic diseases such as hypertension or diabetes. 3. History of radiotherapy or chemotherapy.
