Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Age >=60 years; 2.Patients scheduled for elective abdominal or thoracic (non-cardiac) surgery; 3.ASA status I-III; 4.Completion of abdominal CT scan within 30 days prior to surgery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with severe cardiopulmonary insufficiency; 2.Patients scheduled to be admitted to ICU; 3.Patients with impaired limbs, Parkinson's disease, bone and joint diseases of both upper limbs (such as rheumatoid arthritis), gait disorders or balance disorders, etc., who are unable to complete the test; 4.Patients with senile dementia, mental illness and other diseases who cannot understand the scale; 5.Refusal to sign an informed consent form;
