Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged between 45 and 80 years; 2. Meets the 2015 MDS diagnostic criteria for Parkinson’s disease; 3. Criteria for diagnosing FOG (meet any one of the following): (1) Subjective assessment: Based on item 3 of the Freezing of Gait Questionnaire (FOGQ), ask the patient whether they feel as though their feet are stuck to the ground when starting to walk, turning, or whilst walking; (2) Subjective assessment: confirmed by showing the patient and carer a video of a typical FOG episode; (3) Objective assessment: FOG induced by rapid 360° turns in both directions, dual-task walking, and rapid walking with small steps; 4. Hoehn-Yahr (H-Y) staging: Stages 2–4: 5. Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) score >=24: 6. Stable use of PD medication for at least 2 weeks, with no changes to the medication regimen during the study; 7. Able to cooperate with TTMS treatment and symptom assessment.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. patients with secondary Parkinson's syndrome or Parkinson's disease plus syndrome; 2.those with contraindications for TMS treatment; 3. patients with severe cognitive impairment who cannot cooperate with treatment and assessment (MMSE < 24); 4. patients with a history of brain surgery, brain lesions, or other central nervous system diseases such as stroke; 5.severe motor disorders or tremors affecting rTMS treatment; 6.patients who have previously undergone TMS or transcranial direct current stimulation.
