Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Healthy control subgroup: Age 40-75 years, no gastric cancer or precancerous lesions, no history of gastrointestinal surgery; 2. Gastric precancerous lesion subgroup: Diagnosed by gastroscopy and pathological biopsy with chronic atrophic gastritis with intestinal metaplasia/dysplasia, age 40-75 years; 3. Early gastric cancer subgroup: Diagnosed by gastroscopy and pathological biopsy with early gastric cancer (cancer tissue confined to the mucosa or submucosa), age 18-75 years, conscious, able to cooperate with follow-up; 4. Advanced gastric cancer subgroup: Diagnosed by pathological biopsy with advanced gastric cancer (cancer tissue infiltrating the muscularis or above), age 18-75 years, conscious, able to cooperate with follow-up.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Combined with other malignant tumors; 2. Suffering from severe dysfunction of major organs such as the heart, liver, or kidneys, or mental illness; 3. Has received treatment related to malignant tumors within the past 3 months; 4. Pregnant or breastfeeding women; 5. Unable to cooperate with follow-up (e.g., long-term residence abroad, no fixed contact information).

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Gastric cancer incidence in the healthy control and precancerous lesion subgroups;Overall survival (OS), disease-free survival (DFS), and tumor recurrence and metastasis rate in subgroups of gastric cancer patients;Lesion progression rate of precancerous lesion subgroups;

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Symptom relief rate (VAS score reduction >=50%);Incidence of adverse reactions to treatment/symptomatic management;Quality of life score (assessed using the EORTC QLQ-C30 scale);Restoration rate of gut microbiota structure;
