16 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Age at surgery ranged from 16 to 70 years, with no gender restriction. 2.Underwent endodontic microsurgery (EMS) performed by the principal investigator’s team between January 2015 and December 2023. 3.Preoperative imaging evidence of periapical lesions (periapical radiograph and/or CBCT). 4.Complete medical records (preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative). 5.Clinical and radiographic follow-up records available for at least 6 months postoperatively.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Concomitant periodontal surgery or other simultaneous surgical procedures. 2.Intraoperative diagnosis of vertical root fracture. 3.Preoperative tooth mobility >= grade III.
