Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients admitted to our hospital for thoracoscopic lung surgery from 7:30 to 12:00; 2. Age range of 18 to 65 years old; 3. American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) classification levels I-III; 4. Patients have no hearing or visual impairments, nor language or communication disorders; 5. Patients are aware of the research protocol and have agreed to participate.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with poor sleep quality one month before the surgery (with a PSQI total score of >= 6 points); 2. Patients who used sedative-hypnotic drugs after the surgery; 3. Those who have been using certain drugs regularly for a long time (>= 2 weeks) that may significantly affect heart rate variability; 4. Patients with contraindications for thoracic paravertebral nerve block; 5. Patients with an endotracheal tube in the ICU after the surgery; 6. Patients who are unwilling to cooperate with the trial.

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Root Mean Square of Successive Differences(RMSSD);

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Number of awakenings;Percentage of successive normal-to-normal intervals differing by more than 50 ms;Ratio of low frequency power to high frequency power(LF/HF);Rapid eye movement ratio;Standard Deviation of all normal-to-normal intervals(SDNN);Postoperative pain score;Deep sleep continuity;Proportion of light sleep;Duration of sleep at night;Average Standard Deviation of normal-to-normal intervals(ASDNN);Triangular interpolation of normal-to-normal intervals(TINN);Deep sleep proportion;Very Low Frequency power;Dosage of opioid medications;Standard Deviation of Successive Differences between normal-to-normal intervals(SDSD);Low Frequency power(LF);Standard Deviation of the average normal-to-normal intervals(SDANN);High Frequency power(HF);
