Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. age >=18 years; 2. receiving regular MHD (two to three times/week) for >3 months; 3. clinically stable condition; 4. voluntary participation with signed informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. severe malnutrition; 2. history of malignancy; 3. acute or chronic hemorrhagic disorders or blood transfusion within the past 3 months; 4. severe infectious diseases within the past 2 months or poorly controlled chronic inflammatory conditions; 5. unstable angina, myocardial infarction, coronary intervention, or stroke within the past 3 months; 6. anemia secondary to nonrenal causes (e.g., hematologic malignancies, coagulopathies, hemolytic anemia); 7. planned kidney transplantation or major surgery during the study period; 8. poorly controlled hypertension (systolic blood pressure >180 mm Hg or diastolic blood pressure >100 mm Hg).
