Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Forty elderly patients undergoing elective hemiarthroplasty or total hip arthroplasty; 2. Age 60 to 80 years old, 3. ASA grade II or III.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with contraindications to regional anesthesia; 2.Patients allergic to any anesthetic agents; 3.Body weight <40 kg; 4.Patients with abnormal coagulation parameters or platelet counts; 5.Patients with preoperative cognitive impairment; 6.Patients with infection at the needle insertion site; 7.Patients declining to participate in the study;
