Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with schizophrenia who were hospitalized at the Jiangxi Mental Health Center from January 2026 to December 2026 and met the inclusion criteria were selected. 1. Conform to the diagnostic criteria of schizophrenia in ICD-10; 2.Age between 18 and 60 years old; 3.Have taken olanzapine for 4 weeks; 4.Can follow the treatment plan and undergo relevant examinations during the study period; 5.Signed the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Combined with severe physical diseases or other mental disorders; 2. Fasting blood glucose > 7.0 mmol/L, blood glucose 2 hours after meal > 11.1 mmol/L; 3. Low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) > 4.9 mmol/L; 4. Patients with a recent recurrence of schizophrenia who do not cooperate with treatment or examinations; 5. Pregnant or lactating women; 6. Allergic to olanzapine or the components of bifidobacterium quadruple live bacteria tablets; 7. Patients using other antipsychotic drugs or probiotic preparations.
