Age
18 Years to No maximum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >= 18 years; 2. Diagnosed with shock: MAP < 65 mmHg or requiring vasoactive drugs to maintain blood pressure, accompanied by elevated lactate levels, oliguria, and manifestations of organ hypoperfusion such as skin ecchymosis (refer to SSC 2021); 3. Circulation is unstable (low blood pressure, elevated lactate levels, skin ecchymosis, etc.), and a fluid loading test is needed to assess responsiveness; 4. Arterial catheter has been inserted (for hemodynamic monitoring)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Severe arrhythmia leads to extremely irregular arterial waveforms, making reliable measurement impossible: such as rapid atrial fibrillation accompanied by significant high irregularity in RR intervals, frequent premature ventricular contractions (dual or triple rhythm) etc.; 2. Severe valve stenosis or regurgitation has been confirmed by echocardiography (including aortic valve or mitral valve, etc.), (in accordance with the current ACC/AHA or ESC/EACTS guidelines for the definition of "severe valvular disease") or EF 15 mmHg); 4. Pregnancy, BMI > 35 kg/m^2; 5. Using ECMO or IABP; 6. Poor quality of arterial waveforms, unable to be measured through the square wave test.
